According to a recent report, Apple is sending nearly 200 engineers from its Siri team to a multi-week training program. The goal is simple: learn how to code using AI tools like Claude Code and Codex.

While most of the team is in training, about 60 engineers will continue working on core development, and another 60 will focus on testing and safety. This is happening just two months before Apple's big WWDC event in June, where they are expected to show a new and improved version of Siri powered by advanced AI.
