Nvidia, a big tech company from the US, revealed its latest artificial intelligence (AI) chip. They say it can do some tasks 30 times faster than the older one.

The company hopes this new chip will help them keep their top spot in the market. They also talked about new software tools at their yearly developer conference.

Nvidia is the third most valuable company in the US, after Microsoft and Apple. Their shares have gone up a lot in the past year, making them worth $2 trillion last month.

At the conference, Nvidia's CEO, Jensen Huang, joked about it not being a concert. But some people there said it felt like a big deal, comparing it to presentations by Steve Jobs in the past.

Nvidia said big companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and OpenAI plan to use their new chip for cloud services and their own AI projects.

They also talked about new chips for cars that can run chatbots inside. Some electric car companies in China will use these chips.

Nvidia also showed off new chips for making humanoid robots, bringing some robots on stage with them.

Nvidia started in 1993, mostly making computer chips for graphics, especially for video games. They started adding features to help with machine learning before AI became popular. Now, they're seen as a company leading the way in AI technology.

But they face competition from other companies like AMD and Intel. However, with AI growing fast, there are plenty of opportunities for everyone in the market.
