Am not sure what could be causing it to crash on this network but you can try this to fix it,
shut off your mobile data and then launch the app again and while the app is still open turn on your mobile data. What I mean here is that you need to turn off your MTN or Glo data/connection before you launch the app, then launch it.

However if it shuts down or crashes again, try opening the app then turn on your data and it should work for the main time. You'll have to do this each time you launch the app for a now, at least until Open AI comes up with a solution or update.
